How we check
Every entry was opened on its own official website: the license page, the terms, the pricing page or the help center article that says what is free. That page is linked in the Source column, next to the date we opened it. We do not copy claims from other roundups, and when a page does not say something, for example whether credit is needed, the table says "Not stated" instead of guessing.
Licenses and free plans change. We run a link check every month and go through each list in full every three months; the date on each row shows when that entry was last checked. If you spot something that changed, tell us and we update the row.
No company pays to be listed, and the lists have no affiliate links. If that ever changes for a single link, it will be marked next to that link.
