Taking VAT out of a price in Croatia
Divide the gross price by 1 plus the rate. A price of €125.00 including 25% VAT is €125.00 ÷ 1.25 = €100.00 net, so the VAT is €25.00. Taking 25% off €125.00 would give €93.75, which is too low, because the VAT was charged on the net price.
