Taking VAT out of a price in Sweden

Divide the gross price by 1 plus the rate. A price of SEK 1,250.00 including 25% VAT is SEK 1,250.00 ÷ 1.25 = SEK 1,000.00 net, so the VAT is SEK 250.00. Taking 25% off SEK 1,250.00 would give SEK 937.50, which is too low, because the VAT was charged on the net price.
