Fix sideways pages for good

Scanned documents often come out with a page sideways or upside down, and a single landscape table in a portrait report is easy to get wrong. Rotating the page in your PDF viewer only fixes your own screen. This tool writes the rotation into the file itself, so the PDF opens upright for everyone you send it to, and prints the right way.

  • One page: use the arrows under its preview to turn it left or right by 90 degrees.
  • Several pages: type them into the field, like 2, 5-7 or 10-, and turn them in one step.
  • The whole document: All left or All right turns every page, for example to switch a scan from portrait to landscape.

No loss in quality

A PDF page stores its rotation as a simple number: 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees. Changing it does not touch the text, images or fonts on the page. That is why the file size stays the same and why you can rotate the same PDF as often as you like.

How to rotate a PDF

  1. 1Drop your PDF on the box or choose it from your device. A preview of every page appears.
  2. 2Turn single pages with the arrows, a group of pages with the page field, or all pages at once.
  3. 3Press Save rotated PDF. The new PDF downloads right away, with the rotation saved permanently.

Frequently asked questions

Is the rotation saved permanently?

Yes. The new rotation is written into the PDF file you download, so the pages open upright in every viewer, on every device, and when you print or send the file. Rotating in a PDF viewer usually only changes your view.

Can I rotate only some pages?

Yes. Use the arrows under each page, or type the pages into the field, like 2, 5-7, and press Left, Right or 180°. Pages you do not touch keep their orientation.

Does rotating reduce the quality?

No. Rotating a page only changes a number in the PDF that tells viewers how to display it. Text, images and vector graphics stay exactly as they were, and the file size barely changes.

Are my files uploaded?

No. Your browser opens the PDF, shows the page previews and saves the rotated copy on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, which keeps contracts, payslips and scans private.

Will links, forms and bookmarks still work?

Yes. The tool changes the original document in place instead of copying pages into a new one, so links, form fields, bookmarks and the document information are kept.
